This article was a plagiarism to the article by Pichler, W. J. (2006) Adverse side-effects to biological agents. Allergy 61, 912-920. Mgr. Marcela Zemková, who is the responsible author of this article, misled the co-authors and editors of Folia Biologica. Authors apologize to Professor W. J. Pichler and to Blackwell Munksgaard, publisher of Allergy, editors and readers of Folia Biologica and Allergy for any inconveniences caused by this apparent case of plagiarism. Note: M. R. H. B. informed Editors of Folia Biologica that he had no knowledge about the submission and acceptance of the manuscript but agreed with its retraction. Z. M. was not available to sign this retraction.
